Code of Ethics for Certified & Registered Martial Artists
- Physical, Mental, and Emotional Abuse are not tolerated in or around the Martial Arts School from any source for any reason.
It is the responsibility of the school owner as well as each instructor and fellow student to report abuse and to show respect
for all members of the community.
-
Fear and intimidation are never used within the school to teach, motivate, discipline, or serve as reminders to students or instructors.
-
The martial arts must always be practiced responsibly and with great respect. The arts should never be used to harm other persons or
their property except in defense of person, animal, or property.
-
The experienced martial artist possesses great power over others and must practice responsibility over the use of that power
so that it is always used for noble and just causes.
-
A martial arts instructor is always professional, treating students with respect and highlighting the positive things they do instead of criticizing them.
-
A martial artist does not take advantage of the weak or use the martial arts to unfairly extract cash, property, or favors from students.
