Certification Process Explained
Certified Martial Arts
Those trained in Martial Arts have a responsibility to protect others. Those who teach martial arts should feel this obligation more strongly.
This is a founding principle of Certified Martial Arts. Only the top tier of instructor-qualified martial artists can earn the distinct designation
of Certifed Martial Artist.
Unfortunately some use the martial arts to take advantage of others. Below are a few examples:
- Sexual Predators
- Child Molesters
- Rapists
- Criminals
- Con-Artists
- Undertrained Martial Artists (inflated egos and insecurity)
- Abusive Persons
- Abusive Persons
- Fraudulent Businesses/Scams
- Dying Companies/Franchises
Martial Arts Certification Authority is here to help the public avoid those types of people and experience the true value of the martial arts.
Martial arts can make a huge difference in how its practioners live each and every day of their lives... but only under the tutelage of right instructors.
We utilize a thorough background investigation process from licensed private investigators. We verify each application by hand and checking for criminal history or a history of other unscrupulous behavior.
We also authenticate martial arts ranks, certifications, and competition records. To date, this is the only process in the world that includes both independent rank authentication and background investigation
for certifying martial artists. It's also important to note that the Martial Arts Certification Authority is not affiliated with any particular style of martial arts or martial arts association. We do not discriminate
based on the style, organization, or location, nor do we force our own curriculum on martial artists.
